Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan is an actor who has been a part of the SSC's board of directors since 2011, is the Founding co-artistic director of the newly formed theater firm Speech of Fire. She served as Artistic director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 through the year 2019. As Artistic director of SSC she served as the company's composer, musician and text coach, as well as set/costume/music design. The last year of her tenure she worked as a director and lighting designer for the production of SSC's King Lear. She had directed from the group, but the year that she made her directorial debut. She was a student at Las Lomas High School where she participated in cheerleading. She studied briefly at Pomona College before graduating from Lewis & Clark College. Post previously married Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross (actor/writer) has been Post's husband since 1982. The couple is blessed with two daughters. Post is an excellent actress, an ideal wife and mom and she is a role model to many Hollywood stars.
