Kolber is a native of Pennsylvania and received a graduate degree from University of Miami. When she arrived in New York City, she started her career as an CBS Sports Video Coordinator. When she was working for WTVJ-TV, Miami, she was awarded a Sports Emmy. She also worked for WPLG-TV in Miami and WPEC-TV in West Palm Beach, Florida. In 1993 she joined ESPN and was selected to be one of the first anchors for ESPN2 at the time it launched in the year 1993. She remained at ESPN2 up to the point that Fox Sports hired her. In 1999, she returned to ESPN and serves as the host of "Monday Night Countdown".
